Welcome to our hospital! We do our best to escort pets into the exam room ASAP, but if you do need a place to sit, we have divided seating to allow space without interacting with neighboring patients. Our Cat Corner allows a more private area for our sensitive felines, and the carrier can be placed on our countertop to prevent interactions with dogs. Our desk has heavy-duty dog hooks to hold your pet in place instead of tugging on your arm while trying to check out! 

We have 6 very spacious rooms; 4 rooms with windows & a Cat-Only room complete with wall perches, a great view outside, and scratching posts. Some pets do better with you around, and others do best away from their caregivers. We will keep your pet in the room with you as much as possible to get everything done with little stress. 

We have a great pharmacy in-hospital so that you can go home with most medications at the time of your visit. If needed, our online pharmacy has home delivery for any product not needed immediately. For special medications for special patients, we have relationships with outside pharmacies to ensure your pet can receive the medication it needs at the proper dose! 

 We have expanded our treatment island to accommodate up to 3-4 patients at once. The setup allows us to minimize stress and avoids crossing paths with another patient. Our Treatment Room kennels allow for patients to be closely monitored when hospitalized. 

Our on-site lab for testing of urine, blood, and stool allows for results within 20 minutes when time is of the essence for diagnosing your pet’s illness. The most common tests sent to our outside reference lab are usually back within 1-2 days. We have relationships with many University Hospital Specialty Labs for specialty testing; this ensures that we get the most accurate diagnosis for your pet and quickly create a treatment plan. 

This is an area dedicated to ensuring our doctors and team can sterilely prep and scrub for surgeries. We also use this area for cleaning and sterilizing equipment & surgical instruments. 

If your pet ever has a dental cleaning or a small procedure such as wound repair, this is where the magic happens! The center table has water access/drainage and moves up/down with a hydraulic system! This is convenient for our large dogs since they can step up on the table when it’s down to the ground, and we can raise the table to 4′ high!  The equipment on the bottom left is our dental cleaning/scaling/polishing unit. The piece with the long arm, mounted to the wall on the right, is our digital X-ray unit. You may recognize these items, as your dentist has very similar equipment! The white unit/tube on the top of the table is our Bair Hugger, which is what keeps your pet warm while they are under anesthesia!

We want our hospitalized patients to be calm and comfortable, even if just for a short time with us. We have cozy blankets and pads for our kennels, and it is a short walk to the new outdoor dog run for those patients who may still be a little sleepy from surgery. The kennel floor was replaced with a new non-slip epoxy, and each kennel door is now made of tempered glass – this allows for easy visibility if your pets, and cleaning off the nose art is simple! We can easily hose down & disinfect each kennel between patients. Each kennel has its own drain, and they are separated with cinder block walls to avoid contamination from one to the other!

The final days/moments in your pet’s life can be the most difficult. We have space dedicated to families that need a comfortable and safe place to say goodbye to their pets. We are here to help provide support through this difficult journey with your pet & family. We will ensure your pet is pain-free and relaxed with calming sedation, and we will be by your side through the sadness and heartache that is felt in those final moments. For families and pets that wish to be outdoors to say goodbye, we have an outdoor area with a privacy fence that allows for fresh air and sun during those last moments
