I truly appreciate Dr. Guedet fitting our dog into his busy schedule. He thoroughly discussed treatment options as well as medications and referrals. It’s difficult to see your elderly dog decline but Dr. Guedet was very supportive.
I feel extremely comfortable and confident bringing my dog here. It was extremely refreshing to have a veterinarian that acted like a doctor treating a patient rather than a mechanic fixing a car.

I’ve been bringing all my pets, even a few strays, for many years and have always had very good care for my fur babies and myself. The staff is the best. Very caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Very friendly staff! They all made Moose feel so loved. Everyone was knowledgeable if we asked any questions. There was no judgment made about anything. Overall it was just a really great experience! Also I would love a copy of the picture taken.

As you probably all know by now, I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else for the care of my pets. I’m a long-time client and my pets and I have had a long-time degree of respect and caring from all of you at Perryville!

PPH has been my pet hospital of choice since 1985 when we moved here. It’s a long drive across town but worth it. My 4th dog in succession is now being treated there.
I had a situation where I had to get my pet to the vet and find one that was closest to me. I walked in and right away the office staff were so accommodating to me and my pet. I felt very comfortable being there and would definitely recommend.
My dog always receives great care! Always get her in right away and always take my concerns seriously. Perryville Pet Hospital is extremely clean! I have been in other offices that smell, dog hair everywhere and just do not feel clean!
I was very impressed with Dr. Verace and her attitude. She sat with me for close to an hour giving me advice on my new dog. She also asked what was my dog’s story, which is something I had never had a vet ask before. I always felt that was important
Dr. Guedet, Dr. Verace and the entire staff at Perryville are awesome, I can’t say enough about them Dr. Guedet especially, is so knowledgeable and compassionate! He clearly takes care and acknowledges my concerns for my 2 Golden’s!

We want to express our gratitude to Dr. Susan Verace and Dr. Guedet and their staff at Perryville Pet Hospital for their sincere caring and helping us through the eventual loss of our little Westie, Rosie. They did all the could for Rosie and helped us through Rosie’s passage over the Rainbow Bridge. We are sad but we know little Rosie is in a pain free and in a beautiful place.

We have been coming to Perryville Pet Hospital since 1995. We have always been treated like family! Very friendly, concerned and always willing to help.
Dr. Verace and her crew at Perryville Pet Hospital are the best. We have been visiting Dr. Verace since her very first days in Rockford and she has been a constant source of care and compassion in all of our pet’s lives. She listens to our needs, councils us on the science and the options and supports our decisions. We could not ask for a more capable partner in the health and care of our pets. Recently she identified a very rare eye condition, the doctors at Madison had not even seen this condition first hand, which allowed early treatment with a successful resolution. Dr. Verace and Dr. Guedet know how important our dogs and cats are to us and run a clinic that I am proud to recommend.
Oscar is our first puppy …not dog…and we had many many questions. Dr Verace and Allison her tech were so knowledgeable, concerned and gave us great attention and time and information for new puppy parents. It was a Wonderful experience!
I’m always worked in when there’s an emergency and greeted with recognition and a friendly manner. You can tell that the staff love the animals and care about your pets.

Vet called himself with lab results and plan, and scheduled my next appt while on phone. I understand exactly the results and the plan going forward. And they have coffee/hot chocolate, but things move so fast, didn’t have any time to sit!
We’ve always had a good experience at Perryville. Freddy actually gets excited driving up the street. He loves to go to the Vet’s office.

They got my cat in right away. The vet was very thorough in his explanation and seemed to really care about my animal and his well-being. My cat is currently doing much better because of the care and medicine he received.

Amazing experience! Loved the staff & Doctor Guedet. Our 11 year old boy is always a nervous wreck at the Vet. This is usually a hard experience for us. I have been looking for a better place to take him. Perryville Pet Hospital was referred to me many times, now I know why. They were kind, understanding and truely listened. Yesterday was my family’s first time visiting Perryville Pet Hospital. The staff there was friendly, knowledgeable, and VERY good with our pets and our pets are not easy to deal with. Thank you so much for making it a great experience. Not once did my dogs feel uncomfortable. The staff was also great at performing shots & there were several. Thanks again! Dr.Verace is truly an angel on Earth! My boy spent the weekend at the ER in Madison. Dr. Verace was out of town for the weekend but stayed in communication with me the entire time…she even did a phone consult with the ER doctor in Madison to make sure they were treating Andre right. I could not be more thankful to have such a caring, committed, and compassionate person taking care of my pup.
Because the doctors that work there are intent on making sure our pets are treated like our children. I will be your practice until you close the doors.
